Marylous friends quilt

I'm helping Mary Lou's friend finish 3 old quilts. I'm piecing the backings and then binding. This is quilt #1

I found the piecing so creatively pieced I had to put a pleat or two or a few on top. It came to life nicely!! The customer asked for meandering but knowing it was going to pleat before starting I decided to give the viewer something to rest their eyes on with the feathers. Plus it's hard to "just" meander somebody's quilt.

Wedding Quilt

I quilted Terri B. Wedding quilt for her grandson.

I love the backing as much as the front.

Helping a friend!

I'm helping a friend who is battling cancer. And just found out that her young daughter is also battling cancer. She made this quilt for her daughter but her machine broke in the middle of quilting it. I'm helping by finishing up the quilting.

Turning edges

Yes I have ADD. I'm working on two projects at the same time. The dead lines are fast approaching for them.
Today I'm turning edges for my Costomer custom cat quilt. Here are just a few pieces of this king size puzzle I will put together once all my pieces are turned.

I'm doing the Sharon Schambers method here is her daughter teaching the technique.

I have been working on my journeys project "Famous Female Faces". I quilted a whole bunch of lines and a whole bunch of free hand wiggle lines and a star to represent the American flag.
